These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on this site.

We may change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto the site (see date above). You will be asked to read and accept the terms and conditions each time you place an order, to ensure that you are familiar with the most current ones.


Until you complete the Checkout process you will be able to review and revise your order.

After you submit an order we will give you an Order Reference Number and details of the products you have ordered.  We will send the same details to you in an e-mail.  Please note that this e-mail is an acknowledgement not acceptance of your order.

If your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason we will tell you and invite you to pay by another method. 

Orders will be dispatched on receipt of full payment only.
Acceptance of your order and the creation of a legally binding contract between us will only occur when we dispatch your products to you.

Order Tracking

You can track the progress of your order by logging into your account.  This will provide a current status as follows:

 Order Status Status Description
 PENDING An order has been placed but we have yet to acknowledge or review the order
 AWAITING PAYMENT Payment is outstanding e.g. where the payment option selected was via cheque or postal order
 AWAITING DISPATCH Payment has been received and the order is in the process of being prepared for dispatch
 DISPATCHED The order has been dispatched
 REFUNDED The order has been refunded
 FAILED The order has failed e.g. the customer cancelled payment or payment information is missing


All prices include VAT but exclude delivery charges. 

The total cost of your order will be the price of the products you order, plus any applicable delivery charge.  All these will be set out clearly in your Shopping Basket before you submit your order.

The breakdown of costs (item cost, delivery charge and VAT) will be detailed on your VAT receipt which will accompany your order when it is dispatched to you.

Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order.  If an item becomes unavailable we may offer you an alternative.

We take great care with our pricing.  However, if an item has been incorrectly priced we reserve the right to cancel any order placed.  We will inform you of the error and give you the option of continuing with or cancelling the order.

We accept all major debit and credit cards via secure card processing via HSBC.  We also accept PayPal and we offer Google checkout, Bank Transfer, UK Cheques and UK Postal Orders as alternative methods of payment.

When you use the store to place an order and make a payment you can be confident in the knowledge that the MadAboutFlags store employs a secure shopping cart system protected by a 128bit SSL Secure Server.  This means that we do not see any of your financial details - we only see the payment - as all credit and debit card transactions are completely safe and encrypted whilst passing through our checkout.
